Dr. Aisha Khalid Al Mukhtar, Head of Department and Founder of the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department at Reem Hospital, Abu Dhabi, is a leading force in advancing women’s healthcare in the UAE. With over 17 years of clinical experience, she combines international expertise with patient-centered leadership.
A graduate of Baghdad University (MBChB, 2004), Dr. Aisha became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG) in 2013, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (FACOG) in 2016, and a Fellow of the RCOG in 2025. Her specialization spans high-risk obstetrics, hormonal disorders including PCOS, fertility care, advanced ultrasound, minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, and pelvic health.
Beyond clinical excellence, Dr. Aisha has played a pivotal leadership role in establishing Obstetrics & Gynecology departments within UAE healthcare institutions, strengthening access to safe, efficient, and evidence-based care.
She is also a strong advocate for digital health education. Through Instagram and TikTok, she shares medically accurate information to combat misinformation, raise awareness about women’s health, and encourage early intervention.
