Dr. Nada Hazem Farrag is a visionary healthcare leader operating at the intersection of Clinical Pharmacy, Public Health, and Nutrition. With over 15 years of experience, she currently serves as Program Lead for Nutrition and Dietetics and Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Hertfordshire (hosted by the Global Academic Foundation), where she is shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals through integrated, patient-centered education.
Originally trained as a Clinical Pharmacist, Dr. Farrag brings deep expertise in managing complex, multi-systemic conditions by combining advanced pharmaceutical care with precision nutrition strategies. A Certified Asthma Educator (NAECB) and Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), her academic and clinical work focuses on nutrition-related conditions, antioxidants, and evidence-based interventions that bridge medicine and nutritional science. Her global training includes a prestigious Fulbright Fellowship in Public Health at Ohio University and a visiting scholarship at the University of Arizona, where she completed intensive clinical rotations in cardiology, internal medicine, and nutrition.
Beyond academia, Dr. Farrag has made a significant regional and global impact—training more than 3,000 healthcare professionals and playing a pivotal role in establishing and advancing clinical pharmacy departments across Egypt and the Middle East. Her contributions have been recognized through multiple honors from the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).
